Amar Bastian is a skilled commercial analyst with extensive experience in trading and product control within the energy and metals sectors. Currently at Vitol since May 2022, Amar previously held leadership roles at Koch Supply & Trading, including Head of Metals Product Control and Product Controller from October 2018 to April 2022, focusing on trading strategies and profit analysis for Base Metals and Precious EFP trading. Prior experience includes a client associate position at deVere USA, Inc. and an internship in product control at Koch Supply & Trading. Amar began a career in research with Murano Connect and actively participated in a fundraising campaign for East African Playgrounds, contributing over £2000 for educational projects in Uganda. Amar holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons degree in Economics from the University of Warwick.
