Vitas Romania is a microfinancing institution active in Romania since 1996. Although we are authorized by the National Bank of Romania, we are not a bank. We offer loans in a quick and responsable manner. We analyze with care and professionalism the needs of those who come to us and give counseling in their journey of starting or developing a business. At Vitas, it’s not important how small you are right now, it’s important how great you can become.  

We are a company of Global Communities, an American NGO, active worldwide for over 70 years (since 1952). Global Communities works closely with communities around the world to bring sustainable changes and a better life for vulnerable people. 

During the two decades of activity, Vitas Romania has conducted several financing projects with partners like the Romanian Government, the World Bank, OPIC, European Investment Fund, BlueOrchard, OIKOCREDIT, CoopEst, responsAbility In-vestments AG and BANK IM BISTUM ESSEN eG .
