Rhys Maric is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Platform Engineering at Vitality, focusing on enhancing engineering capabilities and modern application development within Cloud and Network engineering teams since September 2019. Previously, Rhys held multiple roles at Barclays Africa Group Limited from November 2015 to September 2019, including Digital Operations Lead and Lead Software Development Engineer. In that capacity, Rhys contributed to an Agile development environment by designing systems, migrating applications to containerized cloud architecture, upgrading TIBCO applications, and developing solutions using various programming languages. Rhys holds a BA Hons degree in History & Politics from the University of Exeter, completed in 2013.
