Marion Lanteri

Marion Lanteri has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. From 2005 to 2016, Marion worked at the Blood Systems Research Institute, where they held various roles such as Assistant Investigator and Scientist. Marion'sresearch focused on transfusion-transmitted infections and emerging infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on West Nile virus, Dengue virus, and Zika virus. Marion also conducted studies on the immunopathogenesis and host response to Flavivirus infections. Marion was involved in coordinating large multi-center studies and worked on projects supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

In 2016, Marion joined Vitalant as a Visiting Investigator at the Vitalant Research Institute. Marion'sresearch interests included transfusion-transmitted diseases, the persistence of West Nile, Dengue, and Zika viruses in blood compartments and tissues, and the immunopathogenesis of Flavivirus infections. Marion was involved in various ongoing projects related to these areas.

Marion also worked at the University of California San Francisco as an Assistant Adjunct Professor starting in 2015.

In 2022, Marion joined Creative Testing Solutions as the Vice President of Scientific Affairs.

Additionally, Marion has previous experience at Cerus, where they held various positions as a Scientific Affairs Director and Senior Scientific and Medical Affairs Director.

In terms of education, Marion obtained a doctorate in molecular and cellular aspects of life from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in France in 2004. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.

Marion Lanteri's education history begins in 1995 when they attended Classe preparatoire Veterinaire - Nice Massena, focusing on Biology, General. Marion then went on to earn a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in 1998. In 2000, Marion obtained their Master's degree in Biochemistry/Molecular pharmacology from the same university. Continuing their educational journey, Marion completed their Research Doctorate in Virology Immunology Glycobiology at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in 2004.
