Matt Quinn is an experienced leader currently serving as the General Manager of Lincoln Electric Cooperative, Inc. since May 2024. Prior to this role, Matt held significant positions including Under Secretary for Memorial Affairs at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from June 2021 to May 2024, and Major General (Retired) in the State of Montana from January 2021 to June 2021. Matt's military career encompasses roles such as Adjutant General of the Montana National Guard and various leadership positions in the US Army, including Commander of the 495th Transportation Battalion and Commander of A Company, 34th Signal Battalion during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In the private sector, Matt was President of ELM Locating and Operations Manager at NorthWestern Energy. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman and two Master's degrees: one in Military Science and Operational Studies from the Army War College and the other in Business Administration from the University of Montana.
