Wosen Ketema is a qualified medical professional with a focus on dermatology and skin health research. Currently serving as a Research Partner for the Skin Health Africa Research Programme at the Armauer Hansen Research Institute, Wosen is dedicated to improving experiences and outcomes for individuals with stigmatizing skin diseases in Ghana and Ethiopia. As an Image Contributor at VisualDx, a clinical decision support software, Wosen enhances diagnostic processes through the integration of medical images and clinical information. Wosen also works as a Dermatologist at Boru Meda Hospital, a facility with a rich history established as a leprosarium, and previously held the position of General Practitioner at Dessie Referral Hospital, serving a vast population. Wosen's educational background includes a Certificate in Dermatovenereology from Bahir Dar University and a Medical Doctor degree from Mekelle University.
