Jorge Shimabukuro is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity and software development. Currently serving as Director, Head of CyberSecurity Product Development, and Functional Safety Leader at Visteon Corporation since 2016, Jorge oversees a global cybersecurity team and establishes secure development practices and technical roadmaps. Prior to this role, Jorge held the position of Executive Director of Engineering at Scientific Games from 2004 to 2015, where responsibilities included technical leadership and architectural direction for secure systems in gaming machines. Additional experience includes managing engineering and firmware development for casino gaming platforms at Sierra Design Group, leading software projects at MC2 Events Exhibits Environments, and overseeing web-based project delivery at Preference Technologies. Jorge holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Redlands.
