Alex Cotton is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Tech Lead at Vistair Systems Ltd since January 2020, where responsibilities include system architecture and mentoring new staff. Prior to this role, Alex was a Software Engineer involved in the development of cloud-based aviation safety management software, utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, and NodeJS. From March 2017 to January 2020, Alex worked as a Java Software Engineer at NAGRA, contributing to microservice module development in an Agile environment. Alex began a career at Sword Apak from August 2012 to March 2017, where responsibilities included maintaining Wholesale Finance software, providing technical support, and managing development processes. Alex holds a degree in Computer Science from Bangor University, completed in 2012.
