Elaine Blazys has several years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry. Elaine began their career in 1989 as a Convention Service Manager at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers, where they managed all aspects of conventions and exhibitions. Elaine then moved on to the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers as a Senior Convention Services Manager from 1993 to 1995. In 1998, they became the Sr. Director of Global Sales at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they opened a Global Sales Office and led a team of 25 managers and staff. From 2008 to 2012, Elaine served as the Associate Director of Sales at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel, overseeing business opportunities and managing the sales and administrative team. Elaine then joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide as the Associate Director Sales Operations NY/NJ Metro Market, responsible for new business development, sales procedures, and reporting analytics. Currently, they are the Vice President of Travel Industry Sales at Visit Orlando.
Elaine Blazys began their education in 1979 at Mattatuck Jr. College, where they obtained an Associate Degree in 1981, focusing on Math and Science. Elaine then enrolled in Northeastern University in 1982 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Business and Language in 1985. Elaine continued their education at Northeastern University and pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from 1992 to 1993.
