James Yi is an experienced Front-End Developer currently serving as the Lead Front-End Developer at Visier Inc. since June 2019. In this role, James introduced a Headless CMS and decoupled front-end stack to enhance web build security, scalability, and performance, while also migrating WordPress-based projects to GatsbyJS. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Front-End Developer and Front-End Developer (Contractor) at Visier Inc., where contributions involved creating a custom WordPress theme and collaborating on marketing projects. At Sterling, James developed scalable digital solutions and in-house WordPress themes, and previously served as a Marketing Web Developer at Sterling Talent Solutions, focusing on digital asset development. James started the professional journey as an intern at Rival Schools and holds a degree in Digital Design and Development from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
