Amir Babazadeh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amir started their professional career as a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007 and worked there until 2009. Amir then joined Infineon Technologies, where they held the positions of Senior Systems Engineer from 2009 to 2012 and Senior Staff Engineer from 2012 to 2018. After that, they worked at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor as a Senior System Architecture Engineer from 2018 to 2020. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Raytheon Technologies as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer and subsequently as a Senior Principal Power Electronics Engineer. Currently, they are working at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. as a Principal IC Product Definition Engineer, starting in 2023.
Amir Babazadeh obtained a Master's degree in Systems and Control from Sharif University of Technology between 2000 and 2002. Amir later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2007 to 2009.
