Imran Muhammad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the payments and mobile technology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Visa Direct for the GCC & NALP regions at Visa, a role commenced in November 2023, Imran previously held the position of Senior Business Lead at Wise from March 2022 to October 2023. Imran has a longstanding association with Visa, spanning nearly a decade, where various roles included Visa Direct Sales CEMEA and Director positions in Merchant Solutions and Push Payments. Notably, Imran played a crucial role as a key account manager for Telenor Pakistan's Easy Paisa service, fostering strategic relationships that advanced Visa's objectives. Prior experience includes a Regional Program Manager role at Fundamo and Senior Product Manager at PixSense, among other positions that underline a strong foundation in product development and marketing. Imran holds a Master's degree in Marketing from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Hamdard University.
