Sunirmal Chakraborty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology and banking sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Relationship Head for Canada at Virtusa since May 2000, Sunirmal has a strong background in managing large software development teams and vendor relationships across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. Prior experience includes a tenure at Polaris Software Lab as Senior Vice President and Relationship Director, where leadership was demonstrated in high-value projects and core banking implementations, notably at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi. Sunirmal's career began at Tata Steel as Assistant Manager in the FA&MD division. Educational qualifications include a PGDBM in Systems from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a BE in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur.
