Dr. Martin Benedikt is the Head of Digital Innovation at Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH, leading efforts to shape innovation ecosystems for effective advancements. With extensive experience in digital development and operations through the COMET K2 Context-embedded Digital Mobility Programme, Dr. Benedikt has also served as Group Leader for Co-Simulation and Software, focusing on R&D for the Co-Simulation Platform. In addition, Dr. Benedikt holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at SETLabs Research GmbH, emphasizing sustainable and trustworthy socio-technical systems in mobility and healthcare. Dr. Benedikt's educational background includes a Doctor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Master's degree in Telematics, and a Bachelor's degree in Telematics, all from Technische Universität Graz, along with earlier qualifications in mechanical engineering and an industrial electrician apprenticeship.
