Linda Hurwitz has extensive experience as a violinist and educator, currently serving as a Violinist and Teacher at the Virginia Symphony Orchestra since September 1987. Previously, Linda held the position of Violinist with the Portland Symphony Orchestra from 1981 to 1987 and has also been a Violinist at the Grand Teton Music Festival from August 1992, continuing through July 2024. Linda's educational background includes a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, completed between 1983 and 1985, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Colby College, earned from 1978 to 1982.
