Robin Bliven currently serves as the Director of Outreach at the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind, a role initiated in July 2021, focusing on the development and expansion of outreach services for educators and professionals working with children who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or visually impaired. Prior to this position, Robin worked as the Lead DHH/VI Teacher for Pitt County Schools from February 2013 to April 2021, where significant contributions were made to state education policy and professional development initiatives. Robin's early experience includes roles as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Sign Language Interpreter in Nevada, demonstrating a consistent commitment to supporting the educational needs of individuals with hearing and vision loss. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Deaf Education and a Bachelor of Science in Education of the Deaf, both from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
