Michael Hinkle is an experienced data engineering and application development professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer and Lead DBA at Virginia Farm Bureau since August 2011, Michael has extensive experience in developing applications and managing databases. Prior to this role, experience includes serving as an Application Lead at Performance Food Group, where involvement in a major ERP system conversion occurred, and as a Systems Consultant at SPC/Compuware. Earlier positions featured roles as a Senior Programmer/Analyst at Tarmac, where AS/400 applications were developed and supported, as well as programming roles at Trader Publishing Company and Beverly Enterprises. Michael's educational background includes studies at ECPI University and West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
