Ben Ashby is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting. Currently serving as the Personal Lines Underwriting Manager at Virginia Farm Bureau Family of Companies since April 2016, Ben has played a pivotal role in underwriting a variety of products, including Businessowner's Policies and General Liability. Previously held positions include Commercial Lines Underwriter and Personal Lines Underwriter at the same company, as well as Senior Underwriter at Elephant Insurance, where personal auto policies for multiple states were managed. Earlier career experience includes working as an Associate Agent at Nationwide Insurance and in membership sales at Gold's Gym. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Economics from Randolph-Macon College.
