Kathryn Sipes is a seasoned professional in economic development with a diverse background spanning multiple roles and organizations. Currently serving as Business Manager at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership since December 2022, Kathryn has extensive experience, including over 17 years at James City County in various capacities, such as Assistant Director of the Office of Economic Development and Business Retention & Development Coordinator. Prior experience includes roles at the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and the Indiana Department of Commerce, where Kathryn managed community planning and business development projects. Kathryn holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Urban Planning and Political Science from Ball State University.
