Wim Peetoom is an experienced maritime regulatory and risk management expert, currently serving as the Director of Compliance at Virgin Voyages since March 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Area Manager for Americas Marine Management Systems at Lloyd's Register Marine from March 2009 to March 2023, as well as serving as MMS Manager ECA at BMT Designers and Planners and a Senior Management System Surveyor at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. With a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from Nautical College "Noorderhaaks" in the Netherlands, Wim possesses extensive knowledge of marine regulatory, safety, environmental, security, quality, and occupational health standards, coupled with auditing skills as a Lead Assessor for several international codes, including ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and ISO45001:2018.
