Amit Sharma has extensive experience in the music and telecommunications industries, currently serving as Country Manager at Virgin Music Group since December 2020. Prior roles include AVP at Gaana and Head of Music and Telecom at Eros International PLC, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management and business development. Amit held various leadership positions at Idea Cellular Ltd, OnMobile Global Ltd, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, and Reliance Communications, focusing on content licensing, strategic revenue enhancement, and new product development. Amit began a career in the telecommunications sector at Bharti Airtel Limited and Boungiorno, achieving notable success in launching and managing VAS services. Amit holds an MBA in Marketing from Poona University.
