Stuart Aggs possesses extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for both the Flight Safety Foundation's BARS Program and NAPCAN, alongside a role on the Aviation Safety Advisory Panel for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Since 2011, Stuart has held multiple executive positions at Virgin Australia, including Chief Operations Officer and Director of Group Flight Operations, following a tenure as Manager of Safety Systems at Vaustralia and Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Virgin Blue. Previous experience includes quality assurance and compliance management roles at Rex Airlines and Hazelton Airlines. Stuart holds a Master of Science & Technology in Aviation from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New England, with additional qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The Armidale School.
