Alistair Hartley is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategy and transformation within the aviation and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at Virgin Australia since March 2021, Hartley has held various strategic leadership roles, including Director of Strategy and Head of Strategy at International Airlines Group from October 2015 to March 2021, and General Manager of Group Strategy at Medibank from January 2015 to October 2015. Previous positions include significant roles at Jetstar Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Taca International Airlines, and Bain & Company. Hartley's educational background includes a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney, earned between 1995 and 1998.
