Erik Jacobson is a skilled attorney with extensive experience in litigation and judicial processes. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Vinson & Elkins since January 2019, Erik has a solid background in drafting court filings and managing discovery in high-stakes cases. Previous positions include Associate at Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors, and Senior Judicial Clerk for the U.S. District Court, Western District of Texas, where Erik oversaw one of the largest dockets nationally. Erik's legal foundation was further strengthened through various clerking roles in U.S. District Courts, a judicial externship at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, and education at Texas Tech University School of Law, where Erik graduated magna cum laude. Additionally, Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UT Health San Antonio.
