Thiago Chaves de Oliveira Horta has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Thiago started their career as a researcher assistant at the University of Tampere in 2009, where they focused on software development and maintenance for a signal processing system. Thiago then worked as a researcher at the same university, where they designed and developed a front-end program for a software supporting modular planning and development of signal processing algorithms.

After their time at the university, Thiago worked as a software test engineer at Lionbridge, where they prepared and executed tests and evaluated user experience and localization in technological products and software. Thiago then joined mylivingroom.net as a lead developer, where they were responsible for requirement analysis, designing and developing back-end functionalities, and extensive testing of core modules.

Thiago then moved to Conformiq Inc., where they worked as a software engineer, focusing on software development and maintenance of modules in a suite of products for model-based testing. Thiago also worked extensively with installation software and scripts and assisted with infrastructure improvement tasks.

Next, they joined Valaa Ltd as a software engineer, where they worked on the development of the Errantry game engine for the games "Reptilian Overlords" and "Frankly." Thiago also worked on programming and testing developer tools and front-end development of cloud-based tools for programming and content sharing.

Thiago then worked at Neuro Event Labs Oy as a software engineer, before finally joining Vincit as a software engineer.

Thiago Chaves de Oliveira Horta pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2001 to 2007, they attended Universidade de Brasília, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Later, from 2007 to 2011, they enrolled at the University of Tampere (1925-2018) to pursue a Master's degree in Interactive Technology.
