James Reetzke is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in video technology and front-end development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Vimeo since September 2021, James has spearheaded initiatives to enhance the Vimeo Player, utilized by millions daily. Prior roles include leading engineering efforts for the HapYak Interactive Video Platform and working as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Visible Measures, where James designed a drag-and-drop interface and contributed to an open-source video measurement library. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes.
