KG Ganapathi is the founder and CEO of Vimaan Robotics. KG has previously worked as the General Manager of the Sensors BU at Lenovo, VP of Technology at Qualcomm MEMS Technologies, Inc., and Founder and CEO of Fidelica Microsystems (now part of LENOVO CORP.). In December 2015, they co-founded INVIS Technologies Corp. and served as its CEO until October 2016. From October 2008 to March 2010, they were the co-founder and CEO of Verreon, Inc. Prior to that, they were the VP and GM of DAS Devices / Applied Magnetics Corp. from February 1997 to June 1999. KG began their career as a Program Director at Read-Rite Corporation from October 1994 to February 1997.

KG Ganapathi attended the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, where they earned their B.S. in materials engineering. KG then attended the Ohio State University, where they earned their Ph.D. in materials engineering. After completing their education, Ganapathi worked as a professor at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
