Pierre-Alain Jaquet currently serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Science, Education and Culture Committees (SECC) and Secretary of the Sub-committees FDF/EAER within the Parliamentary Services of the Swiss Federal Assembly since September 2017. Additionally, Pierre-Alain Jaquet has held the position of Conseiller communal at Ville d'Yverdon-les-Bains since October 2022. Previous experience includes a project manager role at the Etat de Vaud from May 2016 to June 2017, focusing on gender equality initiatives, as well as various roles in research assistance and project management in organizations such as Fondation les Oliviers and Bureau de l'égalité entre les femmes et les hommes. Pierre-Alain Jaquet's academic background consists of a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from the University of Lausanne and a DAS in Administrative Law from the University of Bern, supplemented by studies in social sciences and cultural anthropology at institutions including Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Lausanne.
