Caroline Giran currently serves as DGA du développement culturel, sportif et événementiel at Ville de Toulon since December 2023. Previously, Caroline held the position of DGAS habitat, solidarités, citoyenneté at Toulon Provence Méditerranée from December 2020 to December 2023, and served as Directeur de l’action territoriale at Métropole Toulon Provence Méditerranée from January 2018 to December 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Directeur de cabinet at Ville d'Hyères from June 2014 to December 2017, and Maître de conférences at Sciences Po Aix from September 1999 to June 2014. Caroline Giran earned a degree in Sciences politiques et gouvernement from Sciences Po Aix and completed a doctoral thesis at Université de Toulon, following a Diplôme d'études approfondies at Aix-Marseille University focused on the economic analysis of institutions.
