Raina Birden, CPC, CDEO, CRC, has extensive experience in clinical documentation and coding, currently serving as Supervisor of Clinical Documentation and previously as Team Lead and Senior Clinical Documentation Coder at VillageMD since May 2020. Additionally, Raina has been a Business Partner at Team X 88, Inc. since March 2007. Previous roles include HCC Coder at Cotiviti and SDI, and Medical Coder at Matrix Medical Network. Raina began a career in coding as a Coding Specialist at OHSU. Raina holds an Associate's degree in Medical Insurance Coding from Cambridge College in Beaverton, Oregon, and attended the University of Oregon from 1987 to 1990.
