Amir Shakouri, PharmD, RPh, serves as the Senior Manager of Pharmacy Integration Operations at VillageMD since April 2022, having previously held the roles of Regional Manager and Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Pharmacy Manager at Tom Thumb Supermarket from February 2018 to April 2022, where Amir led a team of three pharmacists and eleven pharmacy technicians, managed daily pharmacy operations, and provided Medication Therapy Management and specialty care services. Clinical experience also includes a role as a Clinical Pharmacist at Medical City of Plano Hospital from June 2018 to May 2019, focusing on medication therapy management in various critical care settings. Amir began pharmacy career as a lead technician at KROGER PHARMACY from September 2008 to February 2018. Education includes a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
