Nick Rossberg currently serves as the Hazardous Materials Program Manager and Field Staff Instructor at the Illinois Fire Service Institute, a position held since September 2019, with additional roles including Interim HazMat Program Manager and Assistant Program Manager. With extensive experience at the Hanover Park Fire Department since October 1997 as a Firefighter/Paramedic and former Team Leader of the MABAS Division XII Hazardous Materials Response Team, Nick also worked as a Hazmat Technician at Hazchem Environmental from February 2016 to September 2018, focusing on hazardous material remediation. Nick's educational journey includes a high school diploma from Streamwood High School and ongoing studies toward a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management/Fire Science at Columbia Southern University, expected to complete in July 2023.
