Mercy Tumkou is a Project Manager at Village Enterprise since January 2020, where significant contributions include collaboration with Wasafiri Consulting and the County Government of West Pokot to enhance outreach efforts. Mercy spearheaded a technical team that successfully developed and secured approval for a pioneering poverty graduation policy for West Pokot County, marking a significant advancement in Kenya's approach to eradicating extreme poverty. Previously, Mercy held the position of M&E and Communication Officer at SIKOM PeaceNetwork for Development from May 2019 to January 2020. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from United States International University, obtained from 2009 to 2013.
