Dorte M. Hansen

Dorte M. Hansen has extensive work experience at VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S. Dorte M. began their career in 1988 with roles in sales and production, followed by export sales and marketing export sales. From 1993 to 2012, they served as General Manager, responsible for implementing the French subsidiary and growing the market. From 2012 to 2016, they held the position of Country Director France and Regional Sales Director, overseeing local offices and managing sales, service, finance, and quality. Since 2016, Dorte has been with VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S as Vice President Sales Regions, where they have held various roles such as Sales Director South West Europe and Sales Director EUAF (Europe & Africa). In their current role, they are responsible for sales performance, sales management, key account management, and implementing business plans. Dorte M. has direct management experience working with regional sales teams located in multiple countries.

Dorte M. Hansen has a diverse education history spanning several years and institutions. In 2017, they completed the "Managing Global Virtual Teams programme" at INSEAD. In 2012, they obtained a degree in "Corporate Sales Culture" from CBS Executive Fonden. In 2006 and 2007, they attended Copenhagen Business School and received a degree in "Global Management" through the Global Management Development Programme. Dorte M. earned a BBA degree from Esbjerg Business Academy in 1989, specializing in management, economics, and marketing. In 1988, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at Handelshojeskole Syd, focusing on economics, business administration, and modern languages. Dorte M. also studied French modern language at Bruxelles Language school in 1984 and completed their BAC degree in languages and social domain at Esbjerg Gymnasium in 1984. In addition, they obtained a certification in the "Managing Global Virtual Teams Programme" from INSEAD Executive Education in 2017.
