Alex Hughes is a seasoned entrepreneur and design expert currently serving as the Co-Founder of VIE, a startup dedicated to connecting individuals with spontaneous local activities in real-time, since November 2024. As the Head of Product Design at ZOOMcatalog since October 2019, Alex leverages extensive design experience from previous roles, including Co-Founder and CPO/CTO of Gretel, where notable achievements included raising approximately $1 million and building a strong team. Alex's experience also encompasses product consulting at ZAIS Group, leading product design at Prezly, and heading design initiatives at Phuse.ca, focusing on diverse sectors such as education, B2B marketplaces, and tech security. Alex began a design career as a Freelance Designer, spanning nearly a decade from 2005 to 2014.
