Lucy Simanjuntak has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lucy started their career as a Legal Intern at Akst & Akst, Immigration Law Firm in 2002. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as an Assistant Producer & Radio Host at The Clocktower Gallery / ARTonAIR. In 2008, they joined PT Karya Megah Adijaya - AORA TV as an Assistant Manager of International Programming. Lucy then moved on to Nexmedia, Simply Entertaining, where they held the role of Manager of Channel & Program Acquisition from 2010 to 2014, and later became the Senior Manager of Product from 2014 to 2019. Lucy'smost recent position is with Vidio as the Senior Manager of Rights Management, which they have held since April 2019.

Lucy Simanjuntak earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International/Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. Lucy then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design - The New School, which they completed from 2003 to 2005.
