Jean-yves Faucher has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jean-yves started their career at iOC as a Supervisor of Signals and Communication. Jean-yves then worked at Via Rail as a Laboratory Supervisor and later joined the Société de transport de Montréal as a Section Chief. In 2000, they joined Nortel as a Project Engineer. From 2008 to 2020, they worked at Vidéotron in various roles including Director of Engineering and Deployment, Director of Provincial Power Network, and Director of Technical Site Operations. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Access Networks and Infrastructure Deployment at Vidéotron, responsible for the deployment and maintenance of wireless networks, as well as the physical infrastructure of the company.
Jean-yves Faucher has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Jean-yves also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Management from Université de Sherbrooke, completed from 2000 to 2002.
