Jake Bannister has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Jake started their career as an IT Technician at Cardinal Allen high school in July 2017 and worked there until June 2022. During this time, they gained valuable skills in troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems.

In March 2018, Jake joined Northfold Primary School as a Network Manager and Sacred Heart Primary School in the same role. Jake held these positions until June 2022, overseeing the school's network infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation.

Most recently, Jake joined Victrex in July 2022 as a Cyber Security Analyst. In this role, they are responsible for protecting the company's digital assets and preventing cyber threats.

Overall, Jake Bannister has a strong background in IT support and network management, and they have recently transitioned into the field of cybersecurity.

Jake Bannister attended Lancaster University from 2019 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree (Hons.) in CyberSecurity. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, they also attended Lancaster University and earned a Bachelor's degree (Hons.) in Network Engineering, Security, and System Administration.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jake has obtained various certifications. Jake received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in February 2023. In January 2023, they obtained the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification from (ISC)². Furthermore, they acquired the Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate certification in November 2022, the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals certification in June 2022, and the Cyber Defence certification from TryHackMe in May 2022.

Prior to these certifications, Jake obtained the Cyber Security - Beginner certification from TryHackMe in February 2022 and the Pre Security certification from TryHackMe in October 2021. Jake also holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, obtained in June 2021.

Additionally, Jake gained non-degree certifications such as the Microsoft Office 365: Administration (Office 365/Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn in April 2021. Jake has achieved several certifications related to CompTIA Security+, namely: Threats, Attacks, and Vulnerabilities; Technologies and Tools; Architecture and Design; Identity and Access Management; Risk Management; and Cryptography. All of these CompTIA Security+ certifications were obtained in April 2020.

Finally, in October 2019, Jake completed the Configuration Manager: Maintain Inventory and Operating Systems certification from LinkedIn and the Learning System Center Configuration Manager (2016) certification also from LinkedIn.
