Ruby Bovill

Family Violence Therapeutic Counsellor at Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA)

Ruby Bovill is an experienced professional in the fields of art therapy and family violence support, currently serving as the Family Violence Therapeutic Team Leader and Family Violence Therapeutic Counsellor at the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency since January 2019. Ruby has previous experience as an Administration Assistant at BRIC Insurance Consultants and has completed student placements as an Art Therapist at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and Lighthouse Foundation, where art therapy was utilized to support individuals experiencing homelessness. Ruby also worked as a Behavior Therapist at Autism Partnership Australia, implementing therapies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. An educational background includes a Master's Degree in Art Therapy from La Trobe University and a Bachelor's Degree in Australian Indigenous Studies and Anthropology from Monash University.
