Phoebe Bitmead-Hill has extensive work experience in operations, commercial management, and project coordination. Phoebe currently holds the position of Head of Operations & Commercial at the Victoria and Albert Museum's V&A East division since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Manager at the Barbican Centre from December 2021 to April 2023. From May 2018 to December 2021, Phoebe served as a Commercial Operations Manager at the Southbank Centre. Phoebe also gained experience as a Project Coordinator at SPACE (The Society for the Promotion of Artistic and Creative Enterprise) from October 2016 to May 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Fair Assistant at LAPADA - The Association of Art & Antiques Dealers, a Freelance Proofreader & Copy-editor at Here Design, a Programme Trainee at Hospitalfield, and an Editorial Intern at Phaidon in previous years.

Phoebe Bitmead-Hill completed their Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages (French & Spanish) at UCL from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they participated in an Erasmus exchange placement at Avignon Université for one year from 2014 to 2015, focusing on French Language and Literature. Phoebe also possesses certifications in various areas such as food safety, managing exhibitions & events, and personal licence holders.
