Delfine Cheng is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at UNSW since March 2019. Previously, Delfine served as a Microscopist and PhD student in Structural Biology at the University of Sydney from August 2009 to February 2019, where responsibilities included providing technical support in advanced biological sample preparation and cellular imaging, as well as developing new correlative microscopy techniques. Delfine's early experience includes an internship at the University of New Caledonia, focused on identifying genes related to nickel resistance in endemic flora. Delfine holds a Master's degree in Microscopy and Microanalysis and a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Sydney, along with a Bachelor's degree in Life, Earth and Universe Sciences from the University of New Caledonia.
