Luc Moens is a highly experienced academic and leader in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as Vice President of the Board at VIB since October 2006, Luc Moens is also a prominent figure at Ghent University, holding positions as Professor of Analytical Chemistry, Vice Rector, and Dean of the Faculty of Sciences. In addition, Luc Moens has contributed significantly to various committees, including the Remuneration and Appointment Committee and the Audit Committee. Leadership roles have extended to positions in organizations such as EIT RawMaterials, Ghent University Global Campus Korea, and imec, among others. Luc Moens holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Master's degree from Ghent University.
