Carlos Velez is an experienced technical professional with a strong background in telecom systems and support. Currently serving as the Technical Support Team Lead for Latin America at VIAVI Solutions since November 2015, Carlos manages deployed systems and ensures optimal platform usage for telecom operators, contributing significantly to large-scale software solutions generating over USD 20 million in revenue. Previously, as a Product Engineer in Brazil, Carlos focused on deploying Linux-based systems and provided expertise in signaling for IMS/LTE/GPRS/GSM networks. Carlos also held the position of Roaming Consultant at TIM Brasil, overseeing national roaming configurations and troubleshooting various telecom protocols. Early in the career, Carlos gained foundational experience in backbone IP activities during an internship at TIM Brasil. Carlos holds an MBA in Leadership and Innovation from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
