Mathew Kabalega is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital social enterprises, particularly in the agriculture and communications sectors. Currently serving as the Country Director for Viamo in Uganda, Mathew supports digital transformation initiatives for remote communities, collaborating with prominent partners such as USAID and UN agencies. Previously, Mathew held significant roles at Mezzanine, including Country Representative, where leadership contributed to agricultural digital transformation projects benefiting over 100,000 smallholder farmers. Additional experience encompasses leadership positions at Wefarm, American Cancer Society, Diageo, and British American Tobacco, focusing on sales, marketing, communications, and partnership development across East Africa. Mathew holds an MBA from the University of South Wales and holds degrees in Project Management and International Business.
