Sonja Welch is an experienced legal assistant currently employed at Veoci since December 2020, where responsibilities include supporting the CEO in departmental operations, managing legal document flow, and aiding in projects such as designing a legal contract management system and streamlining data privacy processes. Prior roles include positions as a barista at Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters and a writing tutor at Shapiro Writing Center, where Sonja conducted one-on-one sessions and collaborated with faculty to enhance students' writing skills. Sonja also served as an undergraduate student researcher at Wesleyan University, contributing to nanoparticle synthesis research, and as a teaching assistant for a chemistry course. Additional experience includes a programs intern role at the Partnership for Public Service, a field director position for Alex for CT’s campaign, and a summer internship at Fexy focused on content management. Sonja holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Economics from Wesleyan University.
