David Kervyn de Lettenhove has had an extensive and diverse work experience. David started their career as a Strategic Consultant at G Cubed, where they raised funds for an IPO project and managed key accounts. David then joined Puig, initially as a Senior Brand Manager, responsible for leading cross-brand projects and managing the Carolina Herrera Perfumes line. David quickly ascended to become an Area Manager, overseeing the exportation of leading brands to Central European and Nordic markets. David was later promoted to Regional Office Manager, overseeing marketing and commercialization in 22 countries. David eventually became the Worldwide Travel Retail Manager, focusing on optimizing sales and marketing policies for travel retail globally.
After their time at Puig, David joined Desigual as the Global Retail Commercial Director, leading an aggressive growth plan and expanding the retail channel into various countries. David later became the General Manager of the Beauty Division, where they directed the creation, launch, and management of the division, as well as introduced the beauty category into the company's commercial channels. David then took on the role of Executive Vice President for the North American Market, responsible for all Desigual business in North America and developing a turn-around plan and growth strategy for the region.
Following their tenure at Desigual, David became the CEO of UNOde50, where they were responsible for strategy, planning, and the consolidated P&L of the business. David directed daily operations and supervised department managers to achieve objectives. David later served as the CEO of Equivalenza, overseeing a fragrance and cosmetics company with numerous franchise stores worldwide.
Most recently, David joined VIA Outlets as the Business Director for Spain. VIA Outlets is a prominent premium outlet operator in Europe, and David is responsible for the operations and growth of the company's outlets in Spain.
Throughout their career, David has demonstrated leadership skills and a strong track record in strategic planning, business development, and managing diverse teams.
David Kervyn de Lettenhove's education history begins in 1996 when they attended Université catholique de Louvain, where they obtained a MSc in Management Engineering. From 1999 to 2001, they participated in the CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education program, earning a MSc in International Management. In 2000 and 2001, they pursued a MSc in Management (part of CEMS MIM) at Esade. David then attended IESE Business School in 2005 for a Custom Program focused on Negotiating Effectively. In 2007, they completed an Executive Education Program in Innovation in Retailing at Esade. In 2010, they attended IESE Business School once again for another Custom Program, this time in Project Management. Finally, in 2018, they completed a Global Management program at INSEAD, specializing in Competitive Strategy.
