Joan Lacosta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment and business development across various sectors. Currently serving as Investment Director for Spain at VGP since July 2015, following a promotion from Country Manager, Joan is tasked with promoting complex projects and expanding business opportunities in logistics and industrial operations. Prior to VGP, Joan held key positions at GSE Group, including Key Account Manager for Europe, China, and the Middle East, and Country Manager for Spain. Earlier roles include Commercial Development Manager and Marketing & Communication Director at ACIEROID, SA, as well as Technical Consultant positions at Philips Lighting and Televes. Joan holds a Technical Engineer degree in Electronics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and multiple advanced business qualifications, including an MBA and an Executive Master in Marketing & Sales from EADA Business School.
