Sally Lim has a long and varied work experience. Sally began their career in 1993 at Dragages Singapore Pte Ltd (subsidiary of Bouygues Construction) as a Senior Financial Control Manager. Sally then moved to BOUYGUES UK in 2015 as an Operational Financial Controller - Major Projects. In 2017, they joined Bouygues Construction Australia as Deputy Financial Control Director. In 2019, they became an Independent Consultant as a Group Financial Controller. Later in 2020, they joined Mott MacDonald as East Asia - Finance Manager and also Puma Energy as Future Energies Global Finance Manager. Currently, they are a Senior Finance Manager at VFlowTech since 2023.

Sally Lim obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) in April 1993. Sally then went on to pursue a Chartered Accountant degree from the same institution. Sally later obtained a Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and prior to that, they obtained a GCE A Levels in Commerce from Temasek Junior College.
