Marcelo Cabral Soares is an experienced executive in the e-mobility sector, currently serving as Chief Business Officer at VEV since November 2022. Prior to this role, Marcelo held multiple positions at bp from February 2005 to November 2022, including Chief Network Officer and Global Director of Strategic Partnerships in E-mobility. During Marcelo's tenure at bp, other notable roles included Country Head for Castrol in Mexico and various leadership positions in business development and operations. Marcelo's earlier career includes roles at Repsol as Commercial/Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager, as well as technical positions at Ipiranga. Marcelo holds an MBA from Ibmec and has degrees from The Wharton School, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in Mechanical Engineering, and a post-graduation in the Oil Industry from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
