Veronica Hough is an experienced Emergency Veterinarian currently working at VetMED Emergency & Specialty Hospital. Hough has also contributed to the field through an Emergency Medicine Mentorship with Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) and held the role of Student Veterinarian at Lion Country Safari. Additionally, Hough has participated in various roles at Midwestern University, including Federal Work Study and the Boehringer Ingelheim Veterinary Summer Scholar Fellowship. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital and involvement in the Banfield Student Job Program. Hough earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida in 2017.
